Farewell Fr. Isidore

Update about Father Isidore—As announced at Mass last weekend, Fr. Isidore is in Nigeria for the next few weeks. Then, when he returns on Oct. 24th, we will be preparing to say farewell to Father on Saturday, Oct. 25th here at St. Marys. Please plan on joining us in
conjunction with our potluck, to bid farewell to Fr. Isidore and prepare for Father Tran to join us here at St. Mary and at OLV as our new
Parochial Vicar. We hope to see you!

After Mass this weekend, Oct. 4th, the Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual Lifesaver Lollipop fund-raising drive in conjunction with the 40 Days for Life Campaign. All proceeds will go toward Our Lady of the Valley's Respect Life Ministry and Pro-life activities. Thank you for your support!

Registration for Children’s Religious Education at St. Mary here in Ault, begins this weekend after Mass, Sat. Aug. 9th. Registration ends, Wed. Aug. 20th. Classes begin Wednesday, September 10th at 5:30pm. The cost for the program is $75 per child, payable only by cash or check. Classes are for children who are in 1st grade and up. When you register your child, please be sure to provide a copy of your child’s baptism certificate and birth certificate. We need them both to ensure the accuracy of our records. If you are unable to register on Sat. Aug. 9th, please stop by the parish office during regular office hours, Mon-Wed. 11:00am to 5:30pm. Volunteers Needed!—We are in need of catechists for the upcoming year of children’s religious education. We are using Spirit of Truth by Sophia Press as the curriculum this year. This is a very user-friendly program for both catechists and students. If you are interested in helping, please contact Alfie in the parish office: 970-834-1609. I am looking forward to a very blessed year working with you!

Thank you Fernanda! We want to honor and recognize Fernanda Powers for her 13 years of dedication as our Director of Religious Education. Fernanda has served us wonderfully in her ministry to our families and we are very grateful! She has resigned her position to focus on family and other opportunities and will be missed! Welcome Alfie! We welcome Alfie Rael to our staff to lead the Religious Education program for children and adults and also to help with liturgy and administrative duties. Alfie was on staff at Our Lady of the Valley several years ago and would often serve the Mass here at St. Mary’s, so many of you may recognize his friendly face! Welcome Alfie this first weekend of August!
